Bookworms meets at the Vicarage on the second Monday of each month at 2 pm. It is a reading group for people from both parishes, with about a dozen regular attenders. The books chosen for the next few months are

  • 10th December – An English Murder by Cyril Hare
  • 21st January (A WEEK LATER THAN NORMAL) – High Rising by Angela Thirkell
  • 11th February – Northanger Abbey and Persuasion by Jane Austen
  • 11th March – The Long Song by Andrea Levy
  • 8th April -Eleanor Oliphant Is Completely Fine by Gail Honeyman
  • 13th May – The Diary of a Provincial Lady by E.M. Delafield
  • 10th June – Curtain Call by Anthony Quinn
